    Planview is seeking a motivated Finance Analyst with experience using Adaptive Insights or similar Financial Planning software.

     

    Reporting to the Senior Manager of Finance, this analyst will own the systems admin responsibility of Adaptive Insights as well as be a trusted Finance partner supporting R&D. The ideal candidate will be analytical, critical, view problems as opportunities to develop solutions and possess strong communication skills. This role is an opportunity for the right candidate to leverage the experience and skills they’ve gained to date and to expand those at a high growth global enterprise software company looking to scale to >$200 million in revenue.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for administration of Adaptive Insights
    • Work with Finance Analysts to create/modify and test reporting use cases in Adaptive
    • Implement best practices and processes that drive efficient planning & reporting from Adaptive
    • Preparation of Board Materials for the CFO
    • Partner with R&D organization, to Plan, Analyze and Report on key metrics
      • Planning includes annual planning and monthly forecast
      • Analysis includes monthly/quarterly/annual variance analysis
      • Reporting includes building and evolution of monthly Management reporting and KPI’s
    • Work with various data elements, both financial and non-financial (i.e. headcount, renewals, churn, retention and other stats)
    • Support operational scaling with automation, simplification and standardization of processes
    • Ensure timely and accurate metrics are created and forecasted

    Qualifications

    • High analytical acumen with advanced Excel skills are a must
    • 2+ years of experience in Finance and/or in Software industry
    • Experience analyzing and modeling data and data interpretation of results
    • Independent worker, time manager with ability to multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong ability to interact at all levels of management, coordinate with peers and partner organizations
    • SFDC, NetSuite, Adaptive Insights and/or Host Analystics, Hyperion or other Financial Planning software preferred
    • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience preferred
