    You must have a hunter’s mentality, always eager to keep the ball moving and find the next opportunity. You respond well to coaching and feedback, but also have the ability to self-motivate to maintain minimum daily call and email volume to keep driving leads further into the sales funnel. With our help, you will need to be able to identify, contact and engage with senior business leaders within prospect organizations through both outbound calls and following up on incoming leads.


    Prior experience in technology, SaaS, or software sales would be beneficial but is not required– We are committed to training and developing our people to enable them find and reach their peak potential.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner with Account Executives to drive pipeline for Planview commercial products
    • Uncover, qualify, nurture, and build opportunities within the assigned geographic territory
    • Maintain minimum daily call and email volume to move leads down the sales funnel
    • Following up on both incoming leads from marketing campaigns as well as making outbound calls on target accounts
    • Maintain active engagement with existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase demand for Planview products
    • Achieve and exceed quarterly sales targets through execution of various demand generation activities
    • Capture sales prospecting activity using Salesforce.com. Enter new contacts into system as acquired through pipeline follow-up and lead generation campaigns

    Qualifications

    • Strong desire to be in technology space and pursue a career in sales, account development, or product management
    • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
    • Technical aptitude and ability to articulate the value Planview products provide to prospective customers
    • Strong organization and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships quickly, both internally and externally with prospects
    • Must be self-motivated, ambitious and possess a winning attitude
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • Prior inside sales experience is a plus but not required
    • Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent work experience
