• Account Based Marketing Manager

  • Overview

    Planview is building the most comprehensive portfolio of Work and Resource Management solutions in the market and is in search of an experienced and driven Account-Based Marketing Manager to drive new bookings opportunity from within Planview's customer base. The ideal candidate will be proficient in executing multi-channel demand campaigns and in partnering closely with sales teams on targeted account-based marketing programs. Success will come from increased conversion at all stages of the funnel, acceleration of deal pipeline and will ultimately be measured on the ability to drive new bookings.


    • Develop solution-based multi-channel campaigns that build demand from awareness through opportunity
    • Enable and partner with Planview’s Sales Development teams to develop interest into sales-ready qualified leads
    • Complete end-to-end coordination and management of demand generation programs including planning, promotion, execution, optimization, and reporting
    • Target segmentation analysis, budgeting and building business plans for new customer acquisition
    • Learn target buyer personas and tailor market and territory-specific value proposition to fit a variety of program across the buying cycle
    • Development of bottoms-up plans to deliver demand required to achieve bookings objectives
    • Cross-functional collaboration with corporate marketing, digital marketing, solutions marketing and outside agencies
    • Measure and report on performance against weekly and quarterly demand goals
    • Develop and implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales
    • Closely integrate with regional Account Executives, supporting the needs of their territory and executing account-based marketing strategies


    • 3+ years of years of B2B demand generation experience, with at least 1 year focused on Account-Based Marketing and/or at least 1 year in a Customer Marketing role.
    • Advanced knowledge of best practices in B2B marketing automation (Salesforce + Marketo preferred)
    • a high level of experience utilizing digital marketing tactics in coordination with in-person, dimensional and social
    • Track record of consistently delivering measurable results and making data-driven decisions
    • Proven experience working with sales teams; experience as a seller is highly desirable
    • Experience and passion for performance optimization, specifically using A/B or multivariate testing for conversion rate improvement
    • Exceptional written and oral communications skills, effective in both formal and informal settings
    • Ability to work and execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field required, MBA preferred
