Overview

Planview is seeking an experienced Salesforce.com System Administrator to support our high growth organization.  Reporting to the Director of Business Applications, this role will be an integral part of the team and a partner for the Sales Operations team.  The ideal candidate is interested in pushing the Salesforce application (and the ecosystem of applications around it) to the limit.  The candidate should have a desire to create repeatable, scalable systems with an eye for automating processes and removing inefficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Sales, Sales Operations, and Marketing executive management and end-users to manage existing salesforce application and ancillary systems
  • Design and create customized Sales reports and dashboards (i.e. pipeline management and forecasting) that drive informed business decisions
  • Perform regular data uploads/exercises, data maintenance & cleaning activities
  • Create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation rules and approval processes
  • Manage Salesforce helpdesk in providing application users with technical support, tracking resolution progress in Salesforce Cases
  • Provide daily administration and support of Planview’s Salesforce database including but not limited to managing user setup, profiles and roles, customization of objects, fields, record types and page layouts
  • Create and maintain documentation on processes, policies, application configuration and help-related materials for super-users, end-users and governance staff
  • Lead salesforce.com major and minor release for the company, including release cycle testing, end user feature training, and overall corporate communication
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities/deadlines including the ability to multi-task and juggle many competing priorities/deadlines

Qualifications

  • 5+ years performing Salesforce .com configuration and administration of the Sales and Service Clouds
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick), Gainsight, ToutApp, Marketo, and other SFDC ecosystem applications
  • Experience with relational databases, data models and data integration tools/processes a plus
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, often on multiple concurrent projects
  • Prior working experience with Salesforce administration, developing objects, record types, page layouts, workflow rules and approvals
  • Salesforce Administrator certification a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit, including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Force.com migration tool and Web Service a plus
  • Experience preferred with Enterprise Software products a plus
  • Experience preferred with AppExchange products a plus
  • Experience with data migration using Data Loader or 3rd party tools a plus
  • Sound comprehension of SaaS platform concepts, involving technical requirements, upgrades, system configuration, workflow management, reporting and user / role setup a plus
  • This position is based in our Austin Headquarters
